Job Title WHSE Manager Job Overview Our Client is a leading Renewable energy platform that develops, delivers and operates Renewable energy assets globally.

They are currently looking for an experienced HSE Manager that will join their business in Philipines to ensure that the Project safety standards are met.

Responsibilities Development and implementation of the WHSEQ Management System, ensuring compliance with the Owner Requirements, WHSEQ legislation and industry best practice for developing and constructing Wind, Solar and energy storage in the Philippines.

Develop and deliver training and other initiatives to implement WHSEQ management system requirements and initiatives to build WHSEQ culture in the organisation.

Provide WHSEQ support to teams to ensure that WHSEQ risks are considered and managed throughout the lifecycle of projects, including early-stage site assessments, design WHSEQ reviews, contractor assessments, construction and support to the Project Development team.

Support teams during tenders and contractual discussions associated with WHSEQ.

Oversee suppliers and contractors WHSEQ performance and conduct contractor assessments, WHSEQ review for site-specific plans, perform inspections and audit, build WHSE culture by ongoing engagements.  Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and preventive measures.

Provide WHSEQ advisory, where applicable and as part of Management team, to report incidents and develop action plan for improvement, risk mitigation and to enhance performance.

Qualifications Degree or post graduate qualification in WHSE or its equivalent.

Minimum of 10 years experience working as a WHSEQ professional in infrastructure, utilities, or renewables energy industry, or within a power generation discipline Prior experience and exposure in a broader operational role, with either internal or external advisory capacity would be advantageous.

Auditor qualification and/ or a detailed understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skill, ability to engage in a multicultural environment, and exert positive influence on internal and external stakeholders.

Strong team player and collaborator, proven ability to work in a team, across different jurisdiction in Asia, as well as able to work on multiple projects autonomously and independently with other departments and, the smaller scale contractors.

Hands-on, analytical, experienced in troubleshooting, and able to manage technical and regulatory discussions, provide solutions.

Excellent written and conversational English and can speak local language well.

Strong advocate of WHSE compliance with good understanding of local WHSEQ legislation and practices and able to act ethically with fairness, honesty and integrity.

Proficient in MS Office applications e.g., Outlook, Words, Excel, Power Point and Teams.

Proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent leadership skill and time-management
